Many are unsure of the differences between Bay Windows and Bow Windows. Bay Windows are typically in three sections, a large front window, with two smaller returns. Bow Windows are generally much wider and have a smoother, softer look, typically comprising of between three and seven windows.
It all comes down to property style and / or what you can actually fit to your property. Both are a way of creating fantastic views and opening up the room with a deep window sill and allowing more natural light into a room.
Bay Windows are a more Contemporary design found on newer houses, while Bow Windows are more suited to older houses, Bungalows and Cottages.
